You've found the Zhen Family Rocketry Page. We launch model rockets as a hobby
from our neighborhood in Broward County, FL. This page is provided to chronicle
the launches we have made. Enjoy!
Where
We Launch
Broward County is a very congested suburban metropolitan area. Although there
are many parks, many local ordinances stand in the way of us truly enjoying
our hobby to its fullest. As such, we are limited in the size and power of the
rockets we launch. Not to mention, we have to be a bit sneaky.
We often launch at the local Riverside Park, which isn't really a great place to launch since there is a canal to the south which eats rockets for lunch. We are searching for other local parks that A> Have adequate space and B> Aren't crowded with soccer/baseball/football players at all times. If you have any ideas, email us here.
